My name is Melissa Perron. I grew up in Spruce View Alberta, I moved to Red Deer when I was 18 years old and have been here ever since. I first held a golf club when I was 16 years old. I started taking the game seriously when I made the Red Deer College Golf Team at 18 years old while pursuing an education in Adapted Physical Education. I got my first golf job in 2011 at the Innisfail Golf Club where I really fell in love with the game and wanted to pursue golf as a career. Upon getting my pro card in 2017 I went back to school and completed my Business Management Certification. In 2020 I obtained my Class A status as a golf professional. Through my years in the golf industry I bounced around to a couple different courses until I landed a job that was close enough to home that I could bike to work. This new job was everything I wanted. River Bend is a now my work home. I believe I can really flourish my career here under great leadership and I look forward too many seasons to come.
